PERFORMING COMPANY (10+ years)

Service Description

To register: Please fill out the online registration form & e-transfer first installment ($375) + Registration Fee ($40/family) + Costume Rental/Production Fee ($40) = $455 to etudesdancestudio@gmail.com. Second installment fee of $375 is due December 1, 2025 and the third installment fee of $375 is due March 1, 2026. (Multiple classes are on a sliding scale, please email us if you are registering for multiple classes.) Classes start Friday, October 17 and run until June 2026. Dancers who want to perform characters in a large dance production can join the Performing Company. Dancers are taught to express and act out their characters through dance. Dancing in characters, learning new choreography, and expressing emotion through dance are a large focus in this class. Costuming, costume changes, and using (and sometimes making props) are also a part of Company classes. Please note: students must have 2 years prior dance experience. It is highly recommended that all dancers in Company take a Jazz and a Ballet class. *girls - dancers must wear a bodysuit, tights, and jazz shoes to each rehearsal (foot undeez and dance shorts may also be worn) *boys - black t-shirt, black dance pants, black jazz shoes Rehearsals are 1.75 hours/week. Rehearsals start Friday, October 17, 2025 Roles will be announced during the first or second rehearsal. All dancers should arrive 10-15 minutes before each rehearsal to ensure enough time to get ready and to warm-up. Appropriate dance clothes are mandatory for all rehearsals (tights, bodysuits, dance shorts, and dance shoes). Once you receive costumes and props, it is expected that you bring them with you to each rehearsal (or as specified by the instructor). Hair must be up and bangs must be off your face. All electronic devices must be turned off during rehearsals.
